Raibu founder and CD, Sau-Han Wong asked me to write up the essence of her new label. 

In Japanese Raibu means ‘in the moment’, and in this moment women across the world are feeling their power, embracing their creativity and expressing their uniqueness like never before. The Raibu own-label collection is a reflection of this exciting time as it features original and distinctive pieces that escape the boundaries of the mainstream brands, offering a mix from minimalistic and serene, to fun and funky.

Founder and creative director, Sau-Han Wong travels throughout Europe and Asia taking inspiration from various fashion hotspots and styles, to create a unique fashion label. Established in Amsterdam with a distinctive international flair.

“I was born with a strong sense of wanderlust and Raibu is greatly influenced by the creativity and culture I experience when I travel. No matter where I visit I’m always impressed by the different ways womanhood is expressed and that is exactly the essence of Raibu the fashion label.”

The clothing consists of beautiful materials with a luxury look and feel. Fabrics used include natural fibers like (biological) cotton, wool and modal; a bio-based fibre made from wood-pulp.
